First, I want to say that I absolutely LOVE this game. However, I HATE that there is no pause button during a fight. I just started a battle to fight a surprise monster (which are timed fights) and got pulled away to handle something. Obviously, I lost because I couldn't pause the game and missed out on the potential rewards I could've gotten. I've had many times where I wish there was a pause button, but that one upset me the most. Add one and I'll update my review. Thank you!

I was looking for a new magical type game & stumbled across this one. I do like this game very much & all the different levels & places where you need to battle. I find now that I've unlocked the Fire Mountain & Ice Palace that there are so many upgrades, etc, that I don't have enough coins to upgrade the different items to help you on your journey. I also get slightly irritated that when you are playing a battle that some monsters take a lot of your life & energy, I feel it's a little unfair.

A great premise and was fun solitaire with rpg progression elements. But has a serious drawback. As you get stronger by leveling up and upgrading your spells, you would expect to become more powerful, right? Nope, the enemies scale right along with you. So if you get too powerful, the enemies also become too powerful and can just one-shot you. The game devolves into a lame rng-fest. You will either get the cards to win or you won't. Zero strategy, nothing the player can do to "play better".
