For someone who wants to get into mahjong, the in-game aid to help with making sure you know what to keep and discard as well as the multiple time options is very good for new players. I'm a bit annoyed that so many customizable options are bogged with the difficulty to get in-game currency and the high in store prices, but since most are cosmetic and don't affect the gameplay, it's a great game.

If you wanted to try and learn Riichi Mahjong as a beginner or wanted to simply play some games for free? You've come to the right place! Think of the tiles like poker cards. You're trying to create a winning hand. Getting rid of 1s & 9s will help build towards 'All Simples'. You need 4 sequences and/or triplets with a pair to win to call Tsumo or Riichi. While the tutorial is passable and does cover some of the basics. You'll have a better time watching some guides on YouTube.

A good game for beginner. I started playing with 0 knowledge, so kudos to the clear tutorial. Though as you climbed higher into the rank it gets difficult to win and sometimes the algorithm just suck. I have already dropped to adept from expert 4 times, that is just how bad and rigged the probability is to win. Internet is also important; I lost count on how many games I lost due to loss of internet connection. Just play it to enjoy; just go no brainer. Keep the collabs!
