The camera and app for imou was great to have when I had the monthly subscription. But is absolutely rubbish without the subscription because you cannot access saved video alert footage on your sd card. All you get is a notification with a tiny snapshot that you can't make out. To improve this you should be able to access saved footage from your sd card on the app without a subscription!

It was good at first. After a few days, several problems arose. The most troublesome of them was the microphone. When I open the microphone to talk, the apps no longer work. Then there is no option but to cut it off completely. And this happens every time, there is no way to turn on the microphone. Due to which today it has become completely unusable and garbage, which cannot be fixed in any way.

After one year of use, it's a very good indoor camera. It's very sensitive to movement and records everything that moves. The recordings are encrypted so you need special software to playback on a computer. What I didn't like was when the internet drops out, it won't record to the card. I found that strange.
