1. Compatible with Backbone controller. 2. Runs full screen when phone is docked and running Samsung DeX (legit!) 3. Optional PlayStation button prompts (win) My only minor complaint is when playing the game on my phone's screen/aspect ratio, I have the vertical bars on the sides with the static character art. I wish we could either get the game full screen regardless of aspect ratio OR make black bars an option. I don't want to burn in my OLED screen. (that would earn the 5th star)

Thank you for your review! Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove or change the strips on the side of the screen because they are necessary to adapt the game to your device's resolution.

For me, Streets of Rage 4 raised the bar for the Beat em Up genre as a whole, with its extremely responsive controls, Combo potential, and the arsenal given to each character, which unlike many games in the genre, SOR 4 manages to make every one of them feel extremely unique. Touch controls are EXCELLENT. Music is amazing. Graphics are state of three art. I know theres like 20 characters, but It would've been beyond perfect if Skate, Dr.Zan, and Roo had been included with modern sprites too.

This sequel is an impossibility. A sequel to a series lying dormant for almost 3 decades would be easily written off as soulless for basically missing the entire point of the series. Yet somehow, the old bloods still got what it takes and the new bloods completely understand the feel of the series and produced another entry that is very faithful to it's predecessors, so faithful that it plays, sounds, looks, and feels the same. This kind of miraculous sequel might never happen again.
