I like an intelligent app. This one puts your images into an arrangement you can customise or designate date, location and subject matter. It is intuitive enough in AI to decipher most images appropriately and the good thing is that Ive deleted google gallery altogether. I'm using the pro version of this app as it allows me to edit from the gallery interface using Lightroom and save to a different folder thereafter.

I hate Google Photos. It's clunky. It shows me photos backed up when I am trying to find what is only in internal or SD storage. My husband loves his Moto phone so when I needed a new phone, I picked a Moto. Well I found the Moto phones use Google Photos as the gallery app. I was actually downloading a screenshot app because the Moto 3-finger screenshot function is hit or miss. This app came up in the recommend section. Thanks Google Play Store! You did me a solid.

They're always screwing around with the app which is highly annoying. Most recently they have the photos so close together it is nauseating to even try to look at it now. Please stop screwing around with the app. It was really good at one time but now it completely sucks! You can't delete photos from one album without deleting them from all albums, when you move a photo it still stays in the original album so you're really just copying which is just plain stupid, and the editing👎
