WARNING: THIS APP REQUIRES PERMISSION TO ALL FILES ON THE DEVICE YOU ARE USING AND ALL DEVICES CONNECTED TO IT. INCLUDING THE ABILITY TO ADD, MODIFY OR DELETE FILES ON THOSE DEVICES, WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE. If you don't grant full and total access and control to your devices, then it's unusable. I've had this app on other devices still in use for a long time and the app on those devices don't require all-access permissions. Very suspect. I'm uninstalling.

Currently, this app has a lot of trouble playing videos when casting on television. There's no audio, so if I want to cast, I have to use another player, but that player can be frustrating with its own problems. I prefer uplayer, but if they can't update to where you can cast movies with audio (hopefully without live conversion), I'm using it a good bit less. Beyond that, I enjoy the app.

uPlayer is an excellent video player ā smooth performance and especially great when it comes to subtitle support. It handles different formats well, and the subtitle customization options are a big plus. However, the only drawback is the volume control. Increasing the volume requires multiple swipes, which feels a bit tedious. It would be much better if the volume could be adjusted with just a single swipe like in other popular players. Hope the developers consider improving this in a future upd
